Calculator Data & Information We Do Not Require

You do not need to create an account to use the calculators. We do not ask you to provide a name, home address, phone number, Social Security number, Social Insurance number, bank account number, or employer login credentials in order to calculate an estimate.

Calculator values such as hours worked, pay rates, or wage amounts are generally processed in your browser. They are not intentionally sent to our server as part of the calculation itself. The optional email-estimate feature described below is an exception because it must transmit the information needed to send the estimate.

Optional Email Estimate Feature

On select calculator pages, you can choose to email yourself a copy of an estimate. If you use this feature, the email address you provide, relevant calculator inputs, displayed results, page URL, and submission time are sent to our form-processing provider, Formspree, so the request can be processed.

The feature is optional. If you do not submit the email-estimate form, that calculator information is not sent to Formspree through this feature. We do not use estimate-request email addresses for our own marketing. Formspree processes submitted information under its own privacy and security practices.

Website Usage Information

Like most websites, third-party measurement or infrastructure services may process limited technical information when pages load. Depending on the service and configuration, this can include browser or device information, page URL, referring page, approximate geographic information, timestamps, and network information used to deliver or measure the request.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 in a privacy-reduced configuration. On initial page load, the site sets ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization to denied, disables Google Signals and ad-personalization signals, and sets client_storage to none.

After the first user interaction with a page (such as a click, key press, scroll, or touch), the site updates analytics_storage to granted so basic usage events can be measured. The advertising-related consent settings remain denied, and client_storage remains configured as none.

Google may still process technical information needed to operate Analytics. Google states that raw IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics, although IP information can be used transiently for functions such as coarse geolocation, routing, spam detection, or other service operations before being discarded.

Cookies, Local Storage & Affiliate Tracking

The calculator logic does not require advertising cookies to perform calculations. One calculator feature uses browser local storage to remember for a limited period that an optional estimate-email submission was completed.

The homepage also loads an Impact affiliate tracking tag used for link attribution and impression tracking. Impact and linked merchants may use cookies or other tracking technologies for attribution, fraud prevention, and reporting according to their own policies. Your browser settings and privacy tools may limit those technologies.

Third-Party Services

The website currently uses or links to third-party services that can process data under their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google Analytics: website measurement in the privacy-reduced configuration described above.
• Formspree: processes information only when you submit the optional email-estimate feature.
• Impact and affiliate partners: may process attribution information related to sponsored or affiliate links.
• Linked websites and service providers: receive information you choose to provide after leaving this site.

We do not control the privacy practices of third-party websites. Review their policies before providing personal information or purchasing a service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when site features, service providers, or data practices materially change. The latest review date appears below.
